Don't get me wrong, i love girly things, playing dress up, wearing make up...

But when it comes to music, love masculine type of music. Dad first introduced me to KISS and Rolling Stones and the craziness stays forever. Rock music is the anthem

During my teen life, the love for 70's rock music developed into different genre, still in love with Rolling Stones, Queen or Lynrd Skynrd, but I get more modern, one of the band I adore is NOT AVAILABLE, a melodic punk band from Germany. Though,  they are not one of the mainstream band, awesomely they have massive fans in Indonesia. Someday on 2009 (forgot the date...sorry!!), based on request from fans in Indo, they agreed to come and have mini tour in Jakarta .

Hell yeah, I came to the concert...The venue was too small, over crowded and fookin hot...aaargh, who cares? :D

I am Pregnant

Me and my Husband, just got married on August 2nd, 2009. Sacred ceremony attended by family, friends and colleagues. Shortly after, we went to Thailand for honeymoon. 5 weeks later, i discovered that I'm pregnant. Both of us do believe in miracles, but we never expected it came to soon.


How can I deal with the "motherhood" issues???


Let's think about that later...i'm pregnant, it means privilege to eat delicious foodie ...so, all i'm going to do is grab cup of frozen yoghurt and spaghetti carbonara....

Dancing Bachelorette

Bachelorette party is a party held for woman who is about to be married. It is simply a party which symbolize "farewell to bachelor days"..

Some parties take in public venue, while others held privately at home or apartment ..The entertainment itself depends on the theme.

My best friends decided to throw this kind of party for me...started with cozy dinner, end up with naked male stripper (I wishhh...!!! hahaha)...

I didn't have any clue where will we going..All i know, we are going party hard that nite

Wedding Invitation!!!!


Nowadays, wedding invitation means lot, its not just a card that put all details of your wedding reception, but also visualize the couple's sense of style.It becomes a statement of how special the ceremony / reception will held..

Since Nourie is the best graphic designer in town (according to moi :p) , He designed our wedding invitation.

We loved one card wedding invitation concept with letterpress method, so simple yet lovely.. Bella Figura is one step ahead for this matters, totally loved with what their designers do with the cards.

Unfortunately, our parents disagree with "One card tells all" concept..they want Nourie to do old fashioned way...a "Indonesian-wedding invitation style" design completed with text from Quran and map showing where the venue located, it means we need more than one card to invite the Guests..

After zillion revisions :( , we used "hard cover wedding invitation", bright colors and modern design

Summer in June Pre Wed Shoot

One fine day in June 2009.

It was a perfect day for us to take our 2nd Pre-wed photo shoot. Yudha Soestyo (click here) one of my old time friends voluntarily shoots our pre-wed photo. We don't have any specific concepts or unique ideas for the shoots.

We only requested Yudha to capture our lovely moments...moments showing how much we love each other...describing that we are destined to be forever.

Happiness just arrived that day, instead of gloomy rainy day, the whole day was totally bright and the sky looks romantic. Yudha decided we should follow where the lights shine.

Rock n'Roll Pre Wed Shoot

I looooove pre-wedding photo shoots..basically, i love being shoot by Mr. Camera.
So, when it came to make my own pre-wed photos, I'm so excited!!!! My future husband with his graphic designer-eyes refused to take "cliche pre wed photos"..

The "Cliche" pre-wed photo refers to the concept where Couples are happily smiling at each other in their best wedding costume and pointed their finger to the sky.. Only they know the reasons for finger pointing...So, to avoid the cliche things, we decided to contact our best buddies who are known for their photography skills to help us create "Gita-Nourie" pre-wed shoots. (use light make up, casual outfit).

Ichsan Tirtana (click here)  is Nourie's bestfriend who agreed to take our pre-wed photo shoots. The shoots are taken from 4-6 PM (the best times in a day for me :D) outside Jakarta. It took a while for us to be "the real us" in front of the camera. After 15 minutes...we got relaxed, and let Ichsan shoot "the real us"..

The idea is simple, both of us love each other (of course) and passionate about music, we do have one thing in common when it comes to music. ROCK!! rock music is in our soul..Therefore, we decided to put our best outfit (AC/DC t-shirt for me, Metallica for him), not to mention Nourie's favorite Converse shoes and my own high-waist skirt bought 2 weeks before the shoot. I did my own make up (simple and casual)..

At first, Ichsan affraid that our outfit were too "casual" for pre-wed shoots. However, we convinced him to let the magic works...
